Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs' Forum (NYEF)

The Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs' Forum (NYEF) is a membership based nonprofit organization, established with an aim of creating outstanding entrepreneurs through idea exchange, fellowships, education, training and advocacy among the Nepali youth. The forum was officially instituted by the FNCCI in September 26, 2003 as a National Youth Business Forum. NYEF brings together young entrepreneurs within the country. It promotes entrepreneurial mindset and a shared vision through an effective and much needed networking of young entrepreneurs. NYEF provides its member's access to a dynamic network of peers on a national level. Our forum provides young entrepreneurs with opportunities for an open dialogue and exchange of views to learn about different business opportunities, to discuss how to improve the environment for business and to achieve closer cooperation for the future.

NYEF as a forum also seeks to continually advocate issues and concerns of the business community, especially those faced by young entrepreneurs. The forum seeks to develop positive attitude towards enterprises and businesses by educating the masses about the benefits of an enterprise based free market economy.

Objectives

• Help young entrepreneurs in Nepal build fruitful and productive business networks and links among one another.
• Help young entrepreneurs from Nepal gain a better insight into the present status of key business sectors of tomorrow.
• Facilitate exchange of experience in the different ways of building business and investment relations among young entrepreneurs, as well as learning experiences from individuals already successful and leading in the Nepalese economy.
• Educate entrepreneurs about technology and build an innovative spirit among them, in order to facilitate them to compete in both the Nepalese as well as the global economy.
• Identify and execute strategies and actions to promote the emergence of new socially responsible entrepreneurs, by bringing social issues/subjects into our deliberations, allowing entrepreneurs a forum to visibly see the various aspects of such matters, and take more conscious decisions.
• Provide advisory services to the government and lobby as and when required in the formulation and execution of business and industrial related policies, acts and programmes.
