Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF) was invited for Young Entrepreneurs International Business Forum at Omsk, Russia from 15-17th September 2009. NYEF team consisting of NYEF President Mr. Anuj Shrestha, NYEF Birgunj President Mr. Arbindra Amatya, NYEF Pokhara Vice-President Mr. Amit Raj Mulmi and NYEF Pokhara General Secretary Prakash Dev Palikhe team boarded Etihaad Air EY293 to Moscow via Abu Dhabi on 2140, 11th September 2009

नेपाली युवा उद्यमी मञ्चद्वारा आयोजित
Corporate Triathlon प्रतियोगिता सम्पन्न

नेपाल उद्योग वाणिज्य महासंघद्वारा प्रवर्दित नेपाली युवा उद्यमी मञ्च (Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs' Forum) ले आज काठमाडौंमा आयोजना गरेको Corporate Triathlon प्रतियोगिता सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भयो।

प्रतियोगितामा D2Hawkeye Services Pvt. Ltd पहिलो, Philips ले दोश्रो र Morang Auto Worksले तेश्रो स्थान हासिल गर्नु भएको छ। प्रथम, द्वितीय र तृतीय हुने ले क्रमश स्वर्ण, रजत र काश्य पदक प्राप्त गर्नुभयो।

प्रतियोगितामा विभिन्न २० वटा कम्पनी / फर्म, संघ सस्था, नियोग तथा निकायहरुबाट १ सय जना प्रतियोगीहरुले भाग लिनु भएको थियो। विभिन्न ३ वटा खेलहरु पौडी, साइक्लिङ र दौड प्रतियोगिताको समुच्च खेल Corporate Triathlon प्रतियोगिता पार्क भिलेज रिसोर्टमा आयोजना गरिएको थियो। प्रतियोगिताबाट संकलित रकम मञ्चले “मेड इन नेपाल” अथवा “हाम्रै नेपालको” एक सामाजिक जागरुकता तथा राष्ट्रियता प्रति केन्द्रित उन्नतिशील अभियानको लागि प्रयोग गर्नेछ।

बिहान १०:०० बजे देखि दिउसो २:०० बजेसम्म आयोजना गरिने सो प्रतियोगितालाई स्याकार कम्पनी प्रा लि अन्तरगत होन्डाले मुख्य प्रायोजना गरेको थियो भने नेपाल इन्भेसमेन्ट बैंकले सह―प्रयोजकको रुपमा सहयोग गरेको थियो भने व्यवस्थापनको जिम्मा एस एन इभेन्टस् प्रा.लि.ले गरेको थियो।

मञ्चले विगत चार वर्षदेखि युवा उद्यमशिलताको प्रवर्द्धनका अतिरिक्त राष्ट्रको आर्थिक विकासमा टेवा पुर्‍याउने उद्देश्यले विशेष गरि युवा वर्गलाई देशभित्रै विभिन्न अवसरको श्रृजना गर्ने परियोजना तथा कार्यक्रमहरु संचालन गर्दै आएको छ। मंचले विभिन्न किसिमका कार्यक्रमहरुको आयोजना गरि त्यसबाट उठेको रकम शीप भई आर्थिक अभावमा केही गर्न नसकेका यूवाहरुको उद्यमशिलता विकासमा लगानी गर्दै आएको छ।

मंचले यस अघि २ पटक मेड इन नेपाल जस्तो महत्वूपर्ण कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक आयोजना गरिसकेको छ।

Second annual general meeting of Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs' Forum was held yesterday, 9th August 2009 at Soaltee Crowne Plaza. The program started with a brainstorming session between the members and all three Chapters members ( Biratnagar, Pokhara, Birgunj) which came up with a long term strategy for 2009-2014. A new executive committee for the year 2009-2011 was unanimously elected comprising of eight members along with President Mr. Anuj Kumar Shrestha, Chairman, Direction Exhibition and Convention Centre and other executive members are as follows:

Mr. Ajay Bahadur Pradhanang, Managing Director, Fleur Himalayan Ltd.
Mr. Anish Kabra, Director, Home Care Products
Mr. Tushar Todi, Director, Super Lamicoats Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Niranjan Shrestha, President, NYEF Pokhara Chapter
Mr. Mangesh Lal Shrestha, Director, CAS Trading House Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Sudhir Parajuli, CEO, Subisu Cablenet Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Kush Kumar Joshi, President, FNCCI and Patron of NYEF inaugurating the program promised to support NYEF in coming days also. Mr. Saurabh Jyoti, Immediate Past President of NYEF Congratulated the new team.

In the duration of these five years, NYEF has worked constantly to help its members to build upon their success through array of learning and networking opportunities. The Forum has been conducting various workshops and trainings to enhance young entrepreneurs' knowledge and experience to enable them to gain better sight about relevant issues that effects business arena. NYEF is also actively involved in various projects to develop youth into leader and entrepreneurs. Some of its other major projects are Nepal Youth Business Foundation (NYBF), Made in Nepal Campaign and Peace Campaign. NYEF has also been involved in the issues of youth policy and organized an interaction program with the participation of 15 youth organization and task force members to provide suggestions on the drafted Youth policy. A part from that NYEF in coordination with Confederation of Nepalese Industries Youth Forum (CNIYEF) organized a program to provide suggestion for economic growth where the key note speakers were Mr. Babu Ram Bhattrai, Senior Maoist Leader, Mr. Barsahaman Pun and Mr. Krishna Acharya. The forum conducted its first Corporate Triathlon as a successful fundraising program at Park Village resort on 16th May 2009. Besides that NYEF chapters have also been continuously working on entrepreneurship promotion, advocacy and youth related issues.
